Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant specializing in wound care to join our team. This is a full-time, five-day-per-week position. You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients in the in-home, nursing home, and assisted living settings. This position requires the NP/PA to travel within a designated area to provide wound care. Duties and Responsibilities Manage wound care at skilled nursing and assisted living facilities Manage wound care in the in-home setting Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans Assess, monitor, and report changes in patient symptoms Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding wound care Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities Maintain accurate patient medical records Provide education and support to patients and their family members Qualifications Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields Familiarity with medical software and equipment Ability to build rapport with patients Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Knowledge and experience in wound and ostomy care Education and Experience Master of Science in Nursing or PA equivalent Must be Board Certified ( Board Eligible is not accepted ) Excellent customer service and communication skills Position Highlights Full-time position, Monday-Friday Flexible work hours No nights or weekend call Supportive team environment Potential bonus pay
