Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans within the scope of your professional license.
  • Evaluate and treat acute illnesses, chronic conditions, injuries, and provide necessary interventions such as suturing and wound care.
  • Coordinate wellness activities and health education sessions for patients to promote preventive care practices.
  • Perform diagnostic tests, screenings, and prescribe medications or medical devices as needed.
  • Collaborate with primary care physicians to enhance wellness outcomes for high-risk patients by creating personalized health plans.
  • Conduct telemedicine encounters to expand access to care for patients.
  • Stay current with best practices in nursing and healthcare delivery to ensure high-quality patient care.
Experience:
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of [State].
  • Prior experience in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Occupational Health, Geriatrics, or related fields is preferred.
  • Proficiency in airway management techniques and medication administration.
  • Familiarity with inpatient care settings and pain management protocols.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
  • Ability to practice independently as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification.
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience in relevant healthcare settings.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Occupational Health or related field.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification (ACLS).
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, adults, geriatrics, families, and women's health.
Expectations:
  • Reside within a 30-40 minute drive from the healthcare facility.
