Job Description
UHealth is seeking a motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our post-acute care team and provide high-quality patient care right in your community. This is an excellent opportunity for an NP who values autonomy and strong clinical support in a collaborative, physician-led environment. As a Nurse Practitioner with UHealth, you'll manage and coordinate care for your own patient panel while benefiting from comprehensive onboarding, ongoing training, and dedicated Medical Director oversight. What You'll Do Provide thoughtful, patient-centered care to a post-acute population Coordinate care with nursing staff, collaborating physicians, and specialists Communicate clearly and effectively with the interdisciplinary care team Complete daily documentation in the electronic medical record accurately and on time Why UHealth? Strong support model with extensive training and Medical Director guidance Excellent work-life balance : Monday-Friday, day shift only Minimal call - limited and phone-based Competitive compensation : salaried position with quarterly bonus potential (part-time hourly option available) Opportunity to work independently while still being part of a highly collaborative team What We're Looking For Nurse Practitioner with experience in Geriatrics, Internal Medicine, Hospital Medicine, ICU, Emergency Medicine, or General Practice Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred Active NP license and unencumbered DEA license Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently Team-oriented with a positive, patient-focused approach If you're an NP who enjoys autonomy, values mentorship, and wants predictable hours while making a real impact in post-acute care, we'd love to connect.
