Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, examinations, and medical histories. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic health conditions. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results. Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans within scope of practice. Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment options, and health maintenance. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR). Promote preventive care and wellness through patient education and screenings. Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, facility policies, and regulatory standards. Minimum Qualifications Current, valid, and unrestricted Virginia license/certification in good standing, as required for the position. Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Nurse Practitioner. Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required. Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .
BLS, N95
