Job Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where your compassionate care and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. In this vital role, you will provide essential support to nursing staff by assisting with patient care, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity for individuals across various healthcare settings. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in diverse clinical environments while making a real impact on patient outcomes. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort. Take and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately using Point Click Care. Monitor patient conditions closely, report changes promptly to nursing staff, and assist with specialized care. Use assistive devices like Hoyer lifts safely to prevent injury during transfers and mobility assistance. Maintain a clean, safe environment by following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during patient interactions. Document all patient care activities thoroughly in medical records while adhering to medical terminology standards and confidentiality laws. Qualifications Valid CNA certification with current state licensure required. Demonstrated experience working in long-term care facilities, nursing homes, assisted living communities, or hospitals preferred. Experience with EMR/EHR systems like Point Click Care for accurate medical documentation. Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, vital signs monitoring, catheter care, and basic life support techniques. Excellent communication skills coupled with a caring attitude; ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
