Job Summary (Must have car) We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using safe handling techniques and equipment like Hoyer lifts. Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature, ensuring accurate documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems. Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper procedures are followed in compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards. Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, implementing memory care strategies to promote comfort and safety. Assist with patient transfers using appropriate methods and equipment while practicing manual handling safety protocols to prevent injury. Support patients experiencing critical or acute conditions by recognizing changes in status and communicating effectively with the healthcare team. Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) from an accredited program; active state licensure required. Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring hospice or palliative care. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks; experience in medical documentation is highly preferred. Knowledge of vital signs measurement, anatomy, physiology, and basic medical terminology essential for effective patient care. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations; proficiency in medical records management is essential.

$24.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per week
