As a Certified Nursing Assistant you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and under the supervision of the Director of Nursing Services or designee. This role is central to resident care and recovery. You'll assist with daily tasks, support healthcare staff, and contribute to a warm, healing environment for our residents.
Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on, compassionate care to residents, ensuring dignity, comfort, and safety at all times. Deliver primary care under the supervision of the attending physician and/or the Director of Nursing. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. Monitor and report changes in residents' health and behavior to nursing staff. Record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure). Follow individualized care plans and promote a positive, supportive environment. Support illness prevention and basic health management strategies. Maintain a clean and safe care environment according to infection control protocols. Participate in ongoing training and skill development.
Requirements:
Current and active CNA certification in California. Ability to pass a criminal background check. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable, team-oriented, and compassionate approach to patient care.
