please send resume to 714.471.7836 Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care across various settings, including long-term care, assisted living, hospitals, and outpatient clinics. This role requires a strong understanding of medical procedures, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for supporting patients' well-being. Experience with EMR/EHR systems, medication administration, and specialized care such as Alzheimer's, dementia, or pediatric care is highly valued. The CNA will play a vital role in ensuring patient comfort, safety, and dignity while adhering to all healthcare regulations and standards. Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts Monitor and record vital signs accurately using medical terminology and physiology knowledge Support patients with medication administration under supervision and document all care in medical records following HIPAA guidelines Provide specialized care for patients with Alzheimer's, dementia, memory or behavioral health needs, including engagement in therapeutic activities Assist with catheter care, wound care, and aseptic techniques to prevent infection Support patients in hospital or post-acute settings including ICU, emergency medicine, or surgical units Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams utilizing EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks to ensure seamless patient care documentation Recognize and respond promptly to emergent situations in acute or urgent care environments Maintain infection control standards and ensure patient safety at all times in compliance with healthcare protocols Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-discharge care plans Experience Prior experience working in hospitals (Level I Trauma Center preferred), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home & community care settings Critical care experience including ICU or emergency medicine is advantageous Experience with pediatric (PICU), behavioral health, geriatrics, hospice, or post-acute care environments is highly desirable Proficiency in medical documentation systems such as EMR/EHR platforms (Cerner, eClinicalWorks) is preferred Knowledge of medical terminology related to physiology, anatomy, and disease processes such as infectious disease care or trauma response is beneficial Demonstrated caregiving skills working with diverse populations including children with special needs or individuals with disabilities Certification as a CNA with current licensure required; additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) are a plus This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while working within a supportive healthcare environment committed to excellence.
