Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse or CNA to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nursing and education, with a focus on providing high-quality care to patients while also contributing to the development of future CNAs. We are searching for a passionate CNA instructor that is dedicated to fostering an environment of success through discipline, inspiration, and integrity.
HOURS:
weekend program only- 8:00am
- 4:30pm Clinicals
- 7a-3pm
JOB DESCRIPTION
CNA Instructor Full Time position- Tracy ca
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must have an LVN license for 2 years. ( skilled nursing, geriatrics ) Must be proficient with all relevant clinical skills and medical terminology. One (1) of the two years must be verifiable experience as a licensed nurse providing care and services to chronically ill or elderly patients in in an acute care hospital, skilled nursing facility, intermediate care facility, home care, hospice care, or other long-term care setting. Completion of 24-hour Principles of Teaching the Adult Learner Cours ( We will pay and provide this training)AN IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
- Experience working with diverse patient populations in senior care settings.
- Proficiency in patient care techniques and procedures.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Professional knowledge of accurate documentation and record keeping.
AN INSTRUCTOR MUST HAVE THE ABILITY TO
- Evaluate and create assessments of student progress.
- present well-prepared lectures that are consistent with the course curriculum. ( these are given)
- Provide an environment of integrity.
