Job Description
TLC Home Care Agency | Trumbull, CT Part-Time | 16 Hours Weekly | Morning Shifts TLC Home Care Agency is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a 34-year-old male client with physical disabilities in Stratford, CT. We are looking for someone who is patient, attentive, personable, and comfortable assisting a client with significant mobility and personal care needs.

16 hours per week Some scheduling flexibility may be available. Responsibilities Assist with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene. Provide feeding and meal assistance. Assist with transfers and mobility using a mechanical lift. Support prescribed range-of-motion exercises. Provide companionship, conversation, and meaningful engagement. Assist with permitted routine personal care tasks involving medical devices, within the caregiver's authorized scope and training. Follow the client's established care plan and family instructions. Ideal Candidate Experienced CNA, PCA, HHA, or nursing student with hands-on caregiving experience. Comfortable caring for individuals with paralysis and significant physical limitations. Experience with mechanical lifts preferred. Familiarity with colostomy and urinary drainage care is a plus. Able to follow detailed instructions and established care routines. Reliable transportation and consistent morning availability. Available to work Saturdays. Compassionate, engaging, and respectful of client independence. Nursing students are strongly encouraged to apply! Our client enjoys music, art, video games, and social interaction. We are seeking a caregiver who can provide not only excellent personal care but also genuine companionship. Location Stratford, CT — conveniently located near Stratford, Bridgeport, and surrounding areas.
Compensation Pay:
To be discussed based on experience and qualifications.
