Hourly Reports to: Director of Wellness / Assistant Director of Wellness General Purpose Provide direct care to residents within the community while encouraging each resident to function at their highest level of independence. This position reports to the Director of Wellness, Assistant Director of Wellness, or designated team member in charge (typically an LPN). Responsibilities Respond to resident calls and any technology/tools used to monitor safety. Complete timely rounds to check on residents during assigned shifts. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including: Bathing, toileting, transferring, and dressing Grooming assistance such as hair and nail care Assisting with dining and eating as needed Assisting residents to and from activities Administer CPR and first aid as needed. Obtain vital signs as needed and report findings to the Nurse on Duty. Assist in planning and conducting resident activities. Assist with serving meals in the dining room. Help train new team members. Document incidents involving residents and any continued care needs. Perform additional duties as assigned. Physical Requirements Capable of performing assigned duties. Ability to walk and stand for extended periods. Ability to occasionally exert up to 75 lbs. of force and frequently exert up to 50 lbs. to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects, including assisting residents.
