Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Support residents with medication administration following prescribed protocols Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, implementing memory care strategies Operate manual handling techniques safely to lift or transfer residents, ensuring resident and caregiver safety Engage in effective client communication to understand needs and provide emotional support Maintain cleanliness of resident areas through routine cleaning and sanitation practices Support residents during meal preparation and feeding, accommodating dietary restrictions as needed Follow safe patient lifting practices to prevent injury during transfers or repositioning Document care activities accurately in compliance with facility policies and regulations Experience Prior assisted living or long-term care experience is highly preferred Experience working with individuals with cognitive disabilities, dementia, or developmental disabilities is advantageous Familiarity with nursing home or residential care home environments is beneficial Knowledge of medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and basic first aid/CPR certification required Proven ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform manual handling tasks effectively Experience providing home & community care services is a plus Strong communication skills for engaging with residents, families, and team members effectively Join us in creating a warm, supportive environment where every resident feels valued. Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
