Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Personal Care Assistant (PCA) with
RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION
to join our healthcare t eam. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to the client in their home in Powder Springs, GA. Saturday and Sunday's only, Split shift 9am-12pm and 3pm-7pm . Duties Provide care for activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using proper patient transfer methods and equipment, such as Hoyer lifts. Monitor and document patient health status and changes while maintaining strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other cognitive impairments through memory care techniques and compassionate engagement. Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including laundry and meal preparation to promote overall well-being. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure personalized care plans are followed accurately. Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures at all times. Requirements Previous experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospice care, home health, and with patients who may have dementia or mental disability is strongly desired. Knowledge of home health care assistance practices, medical documentation procedures, and home & community care standards. Strong communication skills Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to complete medical documentation accurately and efficiently, such as the Caregivers Time and Activity Record sheet. Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of relevant training programs is required:
PCA-GACCP
test.
