Full Job Description Description:
Park Place of Elmhurst is an elegant five-star community conveniently located across the street from Edward Elmhurst hospital. Here at Park Place of Elmhurst, we offer a continuum of care with the security of lifecare. Our residents also have access to assisted living, short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and memory support right on campus. We are seeking a Resident Aide (RA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Full Time, 11:00PM-7:00AM. Key Responsibilities:
Park Place of Elmhurst is seeking RA's, CNA's to provide resident care according to physician's orders and in conformance with established standards, and administrative policies. Maintaining accurate and complete records of care. Performs all functions in compliance with CDC, OSHA, JCAHO, State and Federal Regulatory bodies. Communicates and interprets the goals of care to the resident and family/caregiver. Assist in toileting, bathing, and daily grooming of assigned residents. Maintain a calm, pleasant living environment for the residents. Report and document changes in medical condition to the appropriate nurses on duty. Give and receive shift reports to ensure consistent medical care is delivered. Measure and record vital signs as necessary or instructed. Participates in life enriching activities for our residents.
Requirements:
Previous experience in long-term care. Must have a compassionate, empathetic and nurturing personality. Must truly have a desire to care for the elderly. Must be mature and career minded. Certified Nurse Assistant certification in the State of Illinois is a plus
