Job Summary The Life-Enrichment Aide plays an essential role in delivering high-quality, person-centered care and meaningful life experiences for residents in our senior living community. This position supports both clinical care and resident engagement, ensuring that each individual receives the attention, respect, and companionship they deserve.

Certification:

Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Course (minimum 120 hours).

Licensure:

Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in accordance with state laws.

Language:

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at a level necessary to perform job duties. Ability to make independent decisions when warranted. Ability to communicate tactfully with residents, coworkers, families, and external personnel. Must be patient, cheerful, and compassionate. Must be able to work with residents with varying personalities and needs. Must demonstrate teamwork, flexibility, and professionalism.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

Resident Care Assist residents with personal care (bathing, hygiene, dressing, meals). Support daily activities, social events, and appointments. Monitor, document, and report resident health and behavior changes. Maintain cleanliness and safety in resident areas. Participate in ongoing training and follow policies and procedures. Monitor and record vital signs (Temperature, Pulse, Respiration, Weight). Assist residents in preparing for meals and activities, and escort to/from dining and events. Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident needs with empathy and professionalism. Perform daily room tidying according to individual resident needs. Monitor residents regularly to ensure comfort and safety, and report changes to supervisor. Assist in transporting residents to/from appointments, programs, and activities. Engagement & Life Enrichment Help coordinate and implement daily activities, events, and social programs . Encourage participation in themed events, games, and entertainment . Accompany residents on off-site trips and act as chaperone as needed. Foster meaningful, compassionate relationships with residents and contribute to their emotional well-being. Documentation & Compliance Accurately record resident data in flow sheets, notes, and charts. Use only approved abbreviations and maintain proper documentation standards. Report all accidents, incidents, complaints, and grievances to supervisor immediately. Follow infection control and safety protocols in compliance with
