We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for resident care and strive to providing high-quality services. The primary purpose of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is to provider personal care assistance to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort consistent with policies and procedures while complying with state, federal, and other applicable health care standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide direct resident care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff in accordance with state regulations and community policies. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, incontinence care, shaving, mobility, positioning, transfers, and meal assistance while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence. Support residents in Assisted Living and specialized neighborhoods, including Memory Care, with daily routines, social activities, transportation, and meal service. Monitor, measure, record, and promptly report resident vital signs, weights, observations, changes in condition, skin integrity concerns, complaints, and other relevant information to licensed nursing staff. Assist with healthcare procedures, specimen collection, and other delegated clinical tasks within scope of practice and state regulations. Accurately document resident care, observations, and required records using the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Maintain effective, professional communication with residents, families, coworkers, and the interdisciplinary care team. Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company policies. Follow infection prevention practices, universal precautions, isolation procedures, and all healthcare clinical policies and safety protocols. Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident living areas and work environments, including changing linens, supporting laundry services, and reporting hazardous conditions or equipment concerns. Promote resident well-being, choice, and the highest possible level of independence while delivering compassionate, person-centered care.
Requirements:
Certified Nursing Assistant in the state for which you are applying Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures Experience in senior living, skilled nursing, or caregiving, is preferred, not required Ability to provide compassionate care Current CPR/First Aide certification preferred •if not certified, willing to obtain through the company Ability to commute to Union City, IN 47390 Benefits for
