The Nursing Assistant on day and evening shift works in collaboration with the Nurse to provide nursing care to approximately 15 retired Sisters residing in the Health Care Center.
Being good stewards in the use of all supplies and equipment. Timely reporting of any change in the Sister's condition to Charge Nurse Reviewing the Nursing Assistant flow sheet; initialing each activity that is performed during the shift. Respectfully following instructions/ directions given by the Charge Nurse on duty, the Assistant Director, and the Director of Health Services. Working as a team player in a cooperative and respectful way. Holy Family Home is looking for that special individual who values their Catholic based faith environment and who demonstrates good moral character, honesty, and excellent work ethic.

Job duties include:
Assisting or performing personal care including hair care, oral care, bathing, grooming, dressing, and HS (hour of sleep) care. Routinely turning and repositioning Sisters to ensure positions of comfort. Providing a safe environment at all times. Toileting as needed; providing bedpans, bedside commodes or ambulation to the bathroom with assist. Incontinence care as needed. Laundering soiled clothing, bath, and bed linens. Assisting with transfers and ambulation with or without mechanical aids. Must be able to use of Hoyer and Sara lifts safely. Answering call lights and tending to the individual needs of the Sisters. Cleaning and sanitizing all areas of activity in the Health Care Center. Changing bed linens and re-stocking rooms with care supplies.Being good stewards in the use of all supplies and equipment.
