Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to nursing staff and assist patients with daily activities, ensuring a high standard of care in various settings, including, short term rehab, long term care and dementia care. This role is crucial in delivering quality patient care and enhancing the overall patient experience. Full-time, part-time, per diem, available. Shift differentials, rate depending on experience. Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding. Support patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols. Assist with catheter care and other personal hygiene needs as required. Document patient information accurately using electronic health record systems Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement individualized care plans for patients. Provide emotional support to patients and their families, fostering a comforting environment. Qualifications Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required. Proficiency in using electronic health record systems. Knowledge of infectious disease care protocols is beneficial. Ability to provide catheter care and support for inpatient needs is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team are required. Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
