In addition, Specialized CNAs working in our dementia unit will receive an additional $2.00 per hour in recognition of the specialized care required in that setting. Certified CNAs with knowledge of assisted living with dementia and age related is preferred. Certified HHAs with experience in dementia and assisted living. Must complete all orientation designated by the EOEA. C.N.A., approved by the State of Massachusetts. Knowledge of dementia and age relation issues is preferred. Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal. Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and feeding. Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Monitor residents' health and report any changes to nursing staff promptly. Engage residents in meaningful activities to promote cognitive function and social interaction.
