Shrewsbury, Massachusetts Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Per Diem Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Shrewsbury Rehabilitation and Nursing at Southgate. As a CNA, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. Responsibilities:
Provide direct resident care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Assist with feeding, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring Perform vital signs and record resident data accurately Assist with ADLs, including mobility, transfer, and positioning Maintain resident confidentiality and respect resident's rights Report changes in resident condition to Charge Nurse and other healthcare professionals Participate in resident care conferences and other facility meetings as assigned Follow facility policies and procedures, and participate in ongoing education and training
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) 1 year of experience in a long-term care setting preferred Ability to lift, transfer, and move residents as needed Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred
