Job Description

Serving residents at our
Assisted Living Duties:
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Administer medications following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Monitor and record vital signs of residents.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding if necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents.
  • Follow resident care plans and document any changes or observations.
  • Advocate for resident rights and ensure their privacy and dignity are respected.
  • Collaborate with social workers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Skills:
  • Ability to lift and transfer residents safely.
  • Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond in emergency situations.
  • Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Familiarity with social work principles and practices.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Proficient in medication administration protocols and documentation.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor when providing care to residents.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
