Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) working full-time during day and evening shifts! In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, high-quality care to our valued residents. Responsibilities Deliver direct resident care by assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility using safe handling techniques like Hoyer lifts and manual handling practices. Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature; accurately document findings in electronic health records (EHR) systems. Assist with specialized care needs such as catheter care, wound management, infection control using aseptic techniques, and dementia or memory care strategies. Facilitate resident transfers using appropriate methods like patient transfer techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts; ensure safe handling practices during all movements. Communicate effectively with residents and coworkers. Maintain a clean, safe environment by following infection control protocols and adhering to safety guidelines for heavy lifting and safe patient handling. Qualifications Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent credential required. Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatric patients, or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS/CPR). Prior experience in long-term care facilities, hospitals assisted living communities, or home health settings is advantageous.
