$1.00 Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in nursing home. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality patient service while ensuring comfort and safety for those in your care. Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating. Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families. Help with mobility by assisting patients in moving from bed to wheelchair or other locations. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols. Support the nursing team with administrative tasks using electronic health record systems like eClinicalWorks and Cerner. Participate in patient care planning and contribute to memory care or hospice care initiatives as needed. Skills Experience in nursing home settings is desirable but not required. Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families. Familiarity with Matrixcare is a plus. Knowledge of hospice care practices and memory care techniques will be beneficial. Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while demonstrating empathy and patience.
