Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene, to promote dignity and comfort Following care plans and HIPAA regulations to maintain safety and confidentiality Assist with mobility and transfers according to the client's care plan and your training Prepare meals and assist with feeding when authorized Provide medication reminders as permitted by the care plan and agency policy Perform light housekeeping related to the client's needs Provide companionship and emotional support Follow the client's Service Plan and agency instructions Observe and report changes in the client's condition or needs Maintain accurate documentation and comply with EVV requirements Maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries Provide care with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect Skills HHA certification or required caregiver credentials Previous home care or caregiving experience preferred Reliable and dependable Compassionate and patient Good communication skills Ability to follow a Service Plan and agency policies Ability to work independently in a client's home Must pass required background checks and meet applicable employment requirements Reliable transportation is preferred/required when applicable to the assignment We are looking for caregivers who genuinely care about people and understand that quality home care is more than completing tasks.
