Job Description

Job Overview Starting Pay:
$18.00/Hour, Evening and weekend shift differential of .75/hour.
Shifts Available:
6-2 Days, 2-10 Evenings, and 10-6 Overnights. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality patient care, support clinical staff, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for patients across various care settings. Your energy and enthusiasm will help foster a positive experience for patients and their families while maintaining the highest standards of safety, confidentiality, and professionalism. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Prepare patient rooms, assist with transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods, and ensure safe manual handling practices Provide specialized care such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, and support for individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques during procedures like catheter care or phlebotomy to prevent infections Document all patient interactions thoroughly in medical records and ensure confidentiality at all times Experience Prior experience working as a CNA in long-term care facilities, hospitals, assisted living communities, or home care environments is highly valued Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (CPR) techniques Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation Hands-on experience providing care in acute settings such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers is a plus Familiarity with caring for geriatric patients and those requiring hospice or palliative care services Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including pediatrics, seniors, and individuals with disabilities or infectious diseases Strong caregiver communication skills coupled with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safe lifting practices Join us in delivering compassionate patient-centered care that truly makes a difference!
