Shift Details:

2 Evening Shift and 2 Nights Shift (8-hour shifts) Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide skilled care to Veterans/residents, including assistance with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, mobility, and transfers. Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and residents' physical and emotional condition; promptly report changes to the nurse. Maintain resident hygiene, comfort, cleanliness, and safety, including fall prevention and use of safety devices as directed. Follow infection control, emergency, and facility safety protocols. Document care provided accurately in daily logs or electronic medical records and participate in shift hand-off reports. Provide respectful emotional support, encourage independence, and uphold residents' rights, dignity, and privacy. Assist residents with recreational and social activities. Work under the supervision of an RN or LPN and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association) An active, current CNA license in applicable state or reciprocation and must be in good standing BLS through American Heart Association or equivalent Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
