Position Summary Perform supportive resident care duties and provide related services that promote comfort and safety, maintain resident's functional status and meet the resident's personal needs. What do I need as a State Tested Nursing Assistant - STNA with McGregor? High school diploma or GED. Current and valid State Tested Nursing Certificate in Ohio What will I do as a State Tested Nursing Assistant - STNA with McGregor? Assist residents with activities of daily living which include bathing and assist with baths, mouth care, hair care, toileting, skin care, nail care, eating, transferring, and ambulation. Perform restorative nursing programs for residents as assigned; document results, outcomes, or refusals of care. Maintain a safe environment for each resident; follow all care plans as indicated. Make residents rounds routinely report findings to the charge nurse. Respond to residents' lights promptly and provide necessary assistance to the residents. Perform delegated tasks such as R.O.M. exercises, application of TED hose, applying skin cream/location, and taking BP, pulse, respiration, temp, weights according to policy and procedure and report completion and results to Charge Nurse. Document complete and factual resident information on appropriate records in a timely manner.
