Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assisted Living Director to lead our team in providing exceptional care and support to our residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing administration and a passion for enhancing the quality of life for individuals in assisted living environments. This role requires effective management skills, knowledge of care plans, and a commitment to upholding resident rights while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the assisted living facility, ensuring high standards of care and service delivery. Develop, implement, and manage individualized care plans for residents, focusing on their unique needs and preferences. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to assisted living, including Medicare guidelines. Lead and mentor staff members, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes professional growth and development. Monitor resident health and well-being, coordinating with healthcare professionals as necessary to provide comprehensive home health support. Advocate for resident rights, ensuring that all staff members uphold these rights in their daily interactions. Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, staffing, and facility operations. Conduct regular assessments of facility systems to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field; a valid nursing license is required. Proven experience in nursing administration or management within an assisted living or nursing home setting. Strong knowledge of care plans, resident rights, home health practices, and Medicare regulations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively. Solid understanding of physiology and healthcare systems relevant to assisted living environments. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact compassionately with residents and families. Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
