Job Title:

Certified Nurse Aide • Reports to: Charge Nurse•

Job Purpose:

Responsible for supporting and providing direct nursing care to the Residents with various injuries, illnesses or disabilities. Duties include helping Residents bathe and maintain proper hygiene, feeding patients, taking their vital signs and notifying charge nurses of any changes. •

Duties and Responsibilities:

Help Residents with personal hygiene and care such as bathing, grooming, and dressing, and bowel and bladder care Take and record Residents vital signs and weight Observe and record Residents' conditions, food and liquid intake and other behavior, and report changes to supervisor Help Residents walk with canes, walkers, or other devices Make beds, and maintain clean and safe environments for Residents Lift, transport, and move Residents using the appropriate techniques Treat all Residents, family, and other visitors with respect, and engage with them in a tactful manner at all times Comply with all safety and health regulations Will work when COVID is in the facility on any assignment on your shift •

Qualifications:

Certified Nurse Aide Certification High school diploma or equivalent Presentation of positive, professional appearance Adherence to SAHR Mission and Values •

Working Conditions:

This is an active job, and you will spend most of your day on your feet working with your hands. Working 12 hour shifts (2 on/2 off, 3 on/2 off, 2 on/3 off) 0600 to 1800 •

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and move up to 50+ pounds. Working inside for extended periods

$14.00 - $15.00 per hour
