Role:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Capstone Healthcare, you'll play a crucial role in delivering quality care and support to our residents.
Qualifications:
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Texas. Minimum of 6 months of experience working as a CNA in a healthcare setting. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized, personal care to residents while meeting their physical, mental, and psychosocial needs. Observe, report, and objectively document symptoms and changes in conditions/behaviors as directed by supervisors and care plans. Practice standard precautions of cleanliness, hygiene, and health, following best practices and residents' care plans. Help residents maintain independence, dignity, and physical safety. Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed. Engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities. Conduct oneself professionally and in compliance with facility policies. Promote positive interactions with internal and external stakeholders. Provide excellent customer service that supports resident care. Participate in identifying staff educational needs. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Capable of lifting and transferring patients as needed.
