The LVN will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care, monitoring the patient's condition, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment while supporting the patient's daily healthcare needs. Responsibilities Provide skilled nursing care to an adult patient with a tracheostomy. Perform tracheostomy care, suctioning, and airway management as ordered. Monitor respiratory status, oxygen saturation, and vital signs. Assess and document patient condition, progress, and response to treatment. Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Recognize changes in patient condition and promptly notify physician, RN supervisor, and family as appropriate. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed. Maintain infection control and safety standards. Educate patient and family on care procedures and health maintenance. Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team. Qualifications Current Texas LVN license in good standing. Current CPR/BLS certification. Previous tracheostomy care experience preferred. Experience with private duty nursing, home health, or pediatric/adult respiratory care preferred. Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a home setting. Reliable transportation and ability to travel to Richmond, TX 77407. Benefits Competitive hourly pay. Consistent Monday-Friday daytime schedule. Pay:
$26.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
