Work 24 hours. Get paid for 32. The Wisconsin Veterans Home at Chippewa Falls is looking for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our weekend nursing team. Work a consistent 24-hour weekend schedule and receive 32 hours of pay while providing hands-on care and building relationships with the Veterans and spouses who call our community home. Work three 8-hour shifts every weekend: AM Shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday): 6:00am

• 2:00pm PM Shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday): 2:00pm
• 10:00pm NOC Shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday): 10:00pm
• 6:00am 24 hours worked | 32 hours paid This position requires a commitment to the weekend-only schedule.

If a holiday falls on the weekend, you would be expected to work that holiday. Pay CNA | Starting at $18.00/hour Work 24 scheduled hours and receive 32 hours of pay each week when program requirements are met. PM and NOC shifts earn additional shift differential. Great CNA-to-Member Ratios Our CNAs typically have an approximately 1:9 cna-to-member ratio, helping to support quality care and meaningful interactions with the members you serve. What Being a CNA Looks Like Here Our CNAs are an important part of our members' everyday lives. You'll help members with their daily needs while supporting their independence, dignity, comfort, and quality of life. You'll work closely with nurses and other CNAs while having the opportunity to build relationships with the members you care for.

Your shift may include:

Assisting members with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care Helping with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation Assisting members with meals and hydration Obtaining and documenting vital signs, weights, and other information as assigned Answering call lights and responding to member needs Observing members and communicating changes or concerns to the nurse Supporting members with toileting and continence needs Following individualized plans of care Helping maintain a clean, comfortable, and homelike environment Providing care that promotes dignity, independence, and quality of life What You'll Need Current eligibility on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry Dependability and a commitment to the weekend-only schedule A commitment to providing compassionate, quality care Long-term care experience is welcomed but not required. PTO & Position Eligibility This weekend-only position is not eligible for the facility's traditional benefits package, including health insurance. Weekend-only CNAs do earn paid time off (PTO) in accordance with the facility's PTO program.
