Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Behavioral Health Group Home Owner to lead and oversee the operations of a residential care facility specializing in mental health, dementia, and senior care. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, maintaining compliance with health regulations, managing staff and budgets, and fostering a safe, supportive environment for residents. Your leadership will directly impact the well-being of individuals with complex behavioral health needs, including those with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, developmental disabilities, and other long-term care requirements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents while managing a dynamic care facility. Duties Oversee daily operations of the group home, ensuring adherence to state and federal health regulation policies and long-term care regulations. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans tailored to residents' specific needs, including memory care, Alzheimer's care, and disability services. Manage staff recruitment, training, supervision, and performance evaluations to ensure a compassionate and professional team. Maintain compliance with medication administration protocols and ensure proper documentation in accordance with healthcare standards. Oversee financial management activities such as budgeting, billing, payroll, and resource allocation to sustain efficient facility operations. Foster a safe environment by conducting regular safety inspections, incident reporting, and emergency response planning. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, families, and community resources to support residents' overall well-being. Utilize Microsoft Office tools for record keeping, reporting, scheduling, and communication purposes. Ensure facility operations align with healthcare financial management best practices while maintaining quality resident care. Qualifications Proven experience in nursing home administration or group home management within senior or behavioral health settings. Extensive knowledge of long-term care regulations, assisted living standards, dementia care practices, and healthcare policies. Strong leadership skills with supervisory experience managing multidisciplinary teams in residential or community-based care environments. Familiarity with medication administration procedures and resident safety protocols. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health challenges is highly desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and administrative tasks. Background in healthcare financial management including budgeting and resource planning. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with staff members, residents' families, healthcare providers, and regulatory agencies. Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments while maintaining a compassionate approach to resident care.
