Excelcare at Newark is seeking an experienced and compassionate We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead the daily operations of our skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a commitment to quality resident care, regulatory compliance, employee engagement, and operational excellence. Responsibilities:
Oversee the overall operations of the facility, ensuring high standards of resident care and customer service Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing long-term care operations Lead, mentor, and support department managers and interdisciplinary teams Monitor facility budgets, financial performance, and operational goals Foster a positive work environment that promotes staff retention and professional development Ensure quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives are effectively implemented Work collaboratively with residents, families, physicians, and community partners Support census development and maintain strong relationships with referral sources
Licensed Nursing Home Administrator Qualifications:
Current Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) license in the state of Delaware Previous experience as a Nursing Home Administrator in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations, survey processes, and reimbursement systems Proven leadership, communication, and team-building skills Demonstrated ability to manage operations, budgets, and staff effectively to lead the daily operations of our skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a commitment to quality resident care, regulatory compliance, employee engagement, and operational excellence.
