In this vital role, you will oversee the development and implementation of individualized care plans for residents with developmental disabilities, ensuring they receive compassionate, person-centered support that promotes independence and quality of life. Your leadership will help foster a safe, engaging environment where residents thrive physically, emotionally, and socially. Responsibilities Develop, review, and update comprehensive care plans tailored to each resident's unique needs, including those requiring Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, and assisted living services. Supervise and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality care aligned with health regulation policies and long-term care regulations. Oversee medication administration processes, ensuring compliance with safety standards and proper documentation. Monitor residents' progress and adjust care strategies accordingly to optimize health outcomes and personal well-being. Maintain detailed records using Microsoft Office tools and other electronic health record systems to ensure accurate documentation of care activities and resident progress. Ensure compliance with all disability services regulations, healthcare financial management standards, and operational policies related to residential care home management. Lead staff training initiatives focused on dementia care, social work principles, medication management, and emergency procedures to enhance team competency. Manage facility operations including budgeting, staffing schedules, and resource allocation to promote efficient service delivery. Foster a positive environment that emphasizes leadership in nursing home administration, senior living facility operations, and home & community care services. Experience Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in settings such as group homes, residential care homes, or long-term care facilities. Extensive nursing home experience with a strong understanding of long-term care regulations and assisted living standards. Supervisory or management experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams within healthcare or senior living environments. Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare financial management, budgeting processes, and operational oversight in a healthcare setting. Familiarity with medication administration protocols and safety procedures in nursing or assisted living facilities. Strong background in dementia care, Alzheimer's support strategies, and memory care best practices. Experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes. Prior roles involving healthcare leadership or nursing leadership experience are highly valued for this position.
