Job Description
This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of Grant Me Hope's three group homes. The Independent Living Home Manager ensures the home provides a safe, structured, supportive, and trauma-informed environment where youth ages 16-24 can successfully transition to independent adulthood.
The homes consist of:
one home for females, ages 18-24, staffed by live-in house parents & located in Allegan, MI
one home for males, ages 18-24, staffed by live-in house parents & located in Holland, MI
one Independent Living Plus (ILP) home for males, ages 16-20, staffed by home support workers & located in Fennville, MI Essential Responsibilities Home Operations
Oversee the day-to-day operation of the homes
Develop and maintain house procedures and expectations
Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and vendor services
Ensure emergency procedures and safety plans are maintained House Parent & Staff Leadership
Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and supervise house parents
Provide coaching, encouragement, and ongoing support
Coordinate schedules, respite coverage, and substitute staffing Mentor & Volunteer Program
Recruit and match mentors and volunteers with youth
Develop relationships with churches, businesses, and community organizations
Coordinate counseling services and referrals Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
Experience in administration, preferably in residential services or nonprofit management
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Excellent communication, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Ability to work independently
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Services, Social Work, or related field preferred
Driver's license with a good driving record Work Schedule & Location

The majority of hours will take place at the ILP home in Fennville, MI
The ILP home needs to be staffed a minimum of 16 hours per day including sleeping hours; therefore, some of the hours will likely include 2nd and 3rd shift as well as weekends/holidays on a rotating basis.
The position has the potential for some on-call availability for emergencies
