RN ADMINISTRATOR HOME HEALTH
Commonwealth Home Health Network Taylor - Campus based position w/local travel Commonwealth Home Health Network, a division of Ross Education Holdings, INC. is looking for an RN to be our CHHN Home Care Admin. The Home Care Admin works under the supervision of CHHN's Director of Healthcare and is responsible for managing the successful operation and growth of the Commonwealth Home Health Network. Job Duties and Responsibilities Management & Reporting Daily census reporting and referral tracking Establish and maintain relationships with referral sources including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, homecare agencies, and physicians. Develops contractual arrangements and maintains communication with vendors and partners Understands homecare, CMS, and CHAP regulations Conduct in person and virtual assessment of client's functional needs Assist with managing coordination or client services and emergent service issues Assist DON and Administer with anything needed Assists with budget compliance and financial outcomes including, but not limited to, labor expense, operational expenses and accounts receivable resolution Identify areas of operational improvement Support, develop and establish annual goals and workflow for the DHC Staff Responsible for payroll oversight and related approvals Participates in ongoing in-service education, including training all staff Responsible to interview, hire, orient, train, schedule, monitor, evaluate, discipline and terminate staff Direct in person and virtual supervision of field staff Create in-service material for field staff Sales & Marketing Provides creative marketing techniques/plans and is informed regarding competitors' pricing and marketing strategies Collaborate with Vice President of Marketing to create videos/podcasts for Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google, CHHN website, etc. Participate in developing new business ventures in addition to payer sources Promote agency services and help expand our home care business Make sales calls and evaluate results and effectiveness of sales activity Perform other administrative activities as directed by the management team Administrative and Clinical Assist with QAPI Train employees on Wellsky On call phone hours during and after scheduled hours Allscripts- Review and follow through with social workers for new patients in Allscripts Call all new patients and introduce our company and give them information about therapists, nurses, and HHA leave my information so they can reach someone after hours Call Dr's office after receiving referrals to get the last visit note and to make sure the Dr will sign all paperwork Create profile and electronic charts for all patients in Wellsky Assign all disciplines to new patients, follow up with disciplines after the SOC Dx coding for the new SOC in Wellsky Ensure all SOC oasis are completed and have no mistakes. QA all charts both paper and electronic All oasis in Wellsky such as ROC, Recerts, and D/C are done and exported Send off all NOA within the 5 days required by Medicare Assist with any billing questions or concerns that may come up. Fix any billing errors Send and track paperwork for the Dr's to sign in a timely manner and scan into the electronic file Answer phone and emails Check insurance for the eligibility of services Follow all the procedures and guidelines for all patients until D/C Additional compliance duties as assigned Benefits Health, Dental & Vision Insurance Paid Time Off 401(k) Life Insurance Tuition Reimbursement Monthly Pay and Direct Deposit Requirements Completion of an approved registered nursing education program, RN or higher Two or more years in the practice of nursing providing direct patient care Current, valid licensure as an RN in Michigan Day and evening availability Must be able to travel off-site in Metro Detroit Area Adhere to Ross Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics Ability to communicate effectively in individual settings Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced work environment Sufficient ability to move around the building and classroom to satisfy student needs and/or facilitate student participation.
