Job Description

Friends of Cyrus (FOC) is currently looking for responsible, caring, and compassionate Group Home Manager to join our team. Friends of Cyrus provides support to adults in a Group Home setting. We are seeking a 'compassionate and qualified' Group Home Manager that will be overseeing the operations of all operations and activities of the residence, including staff supervision, acting as agency/community liaison, directing resident training and programming, and oversight of the physical environment. Prior experience in a NJ DDD setting necessary. Prior experience with higher acuity adults necessary. Prior expereince qith NJ DDD regulations necessary. Prior expereince with Therap very helpful. Job Requirements & Responsibilities Monitor all aspects of the assigned program (i.e. day to day operations, staff schedules, doctor appointments, etc.); Provide oversight of staff to include training specific to individual needs in the home and ongoing support to ensure individual needs are met. Work directly with the individual and staff to ensure appropriate individual treatment plans/individual service plans and program strategies are developed, implemented and reviewed to meet the ongoing needs of the clients; Resolve individual care issues with regard to placement, programming, crisis intervention. Mandatory Daily audits of physical plant, medication administration records, menus, etc. in the home to ensure the home meets the standards set forth by NJAC 10:44A. Helps to ensure that all program licenses, certificates and contracts are current and in compliance with all legal/regulatory guidelines. Submit weekly reports as needed. Helps to ensure that the Residential Program maintains a healthy system of Quality Assurance that operates within agency guidelines and adheres to all established policies and procedures for ongoing continuous quality improvement; Interview and evaluate staff/ provide corrective feedback. Foster teamwork and professionalism. Conducts quarterly in services for personnel related to individual client needs, policy changes, upcoming trips, ISP, home concerns, maintenance, etc.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelors or Masters degree essential. Minimum 5-years experience working with individuals with individuals with developmental disabilities. Minimum 3-year supervisory experience Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Therap (required) Valid Driver's License DDD certifications preferred You must pass all background checks including but not limited to:
Central Registry, MVR, Fingerprints, Drug Screen, Physical and PPD Job Benefits:
