The salary range is $68K - $72K based upon experience. As the Director of Memory Care and department leader for this Assisted Living Memory Care community, you will facilitate and lead the resident care teams. This includes supporting the designated care managers and medication aides, assisting in the recruiting, hiring, training and coaching a high quality team. Providing recognition and creating an engaged culture for the team, residents and families is an important part of your leadership role. You will actively collaborate with the Director of Health Services, The Case Manager for Memory Care and the Lifestyles Director. Job Requirement

• A passion for working with seniors suffering from various Dementia's including but not limited to Alzheimer's Care
• Two (2) years' experience preferred in memory care, working specifically with Dementia, Alzheimer's and cognitive impaired residents and/or long term care or hospital experience with exposure to memory impaired senior population
• A minimum of 1 year of supervisory and management experience including hiring staff, coaching, performance management, daily operations supervision, discipline and counseling
• An interest and/or talent for programming (social engagement) for cognitively impaired individuals
• Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing

• Alzheimer's Dementia Care Training and/or Experience and/or Credentials
• Ability to develop new social engagement programs
• Ability to coach and mentor staff
