We are seeking an experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead our skilled nursing facility. The Administrator will provide leadership and oversight to ensure exceptional resident care, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and operational excellence. This role directs a team of department leaders and works closely with corporate operations, human resources, and recruiting teams to maintain a high-performing facility that delivers outstanding care to residents while remaining financially strong. The Administrator reports directly to the Director of Operations and plays a key role in maintaining strong relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, and community partners. Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership Oversee the overall operations and financial performance of the facility. Ensure compliance with all state and federal long-term care regulations , including Medicare and Medicaid requirements. Maintain adherence to company standards, policies, programs, and systems. Direct department leaders in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating facility programs and services. Quality & Resident Care Ensure the protection and enforcement of resident rights . Review and respond to resident and family complaints and grievances. Maintain a safe, sanitary, and high-quality care environment. Participate in state and federal regulatory surveys and oversee corrective actions when necessary. Staffing & Leadership Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team of department managers . Ensure adequate staffing levels with appropriately trained personnel. Provide coaching, performance feedback, counseling, and evaluations to department leaders. Foster a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and professional growth. Financial & Strategic Management Develop and implement marketing and census development strategies to maintain occupancy and optimize payer mix. Monitor procurement and utilization of supplies and equipment. Manage budgets and capital purchases according to corporate approval protocols. Complete required reports and projects in a timely and efficient manner. Compliance & Safety Implement and oversee facility safety programs and emergency preparedness . Maintain compliance with OSHA, workers' compensation, employment law, and healthcare regulations . Ensure job descriptions, policies, and procedures meet regulatory requirements. Community Engagement Build and maintain relationships with local hospitals, healthcare providers, and community organizations . Participate in corporate, facility, and community committees and initiatives. Represent the facility as a leader in the local healthcare community. Qualifications Valid Nursing Home Administrator license in good standing. Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or a related field. Minimum of five years of supervisory experience in long-term care preferred. Previous experience as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator strongly preferred.
