Communicate regularly with managers, supervisors, and staff to ensure documentation and care meet established standards.
Leadership and Team Management:
Direct and evaluate operations and staff functions, including staffing, administration, and service delivery. Participate in human resources functions such as interviewing, hiring, orientation, supervision, counseling, evaluations, and staff development. Provide leadership for administrative on-call responsibilities as needed.
Compliance and Regulations:
Ensure operations meet Federal and State laws governing in-home care services. Maintain compliance with accrediting body quality standards and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Financial Management:
Oversee operational processes to support timely and accurate billing. Monitor staff efficiency and implement corrective actions when necessary. Maintain sound financial management practices in alignment with business principles and organizational goals.
Qualifications Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in healthcare management, preferably in in-home care services (experience within the state of TN is highly desirable).
Knowledge and Skills:
Extensive knowledge of Federal and Tennessee State specific laws governing in-home health services. Strong financial management skills with familiarity with business practices and principles. Proficiency in developing, implementing, and monitoring quality improvement programs. Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Other Requirements Ability to manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Experience with payroll, billing, and financial reporting processes. Work Environment The role involves a combination of administrative office duties and oversight of in-home care operations. Flexibility to participate in on-call responsibilities is required.
