Responsibilities:
▪ Assist in developing plans of correction for cited deficiencies and ensure such plans incorporate timetables and methods of monitoring so that such deficiencies do not recur ▪ Assist in recruitment and selection of competent department directors, supervisors, facility licensed and non-licensed staff, consultants, etc. ▪ Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the facility's programs and activities in accordance with guidelines issued by the governing board ▪ Consult with department directors concerning the operation of their departments to assist in eliminating/correcting problem areas, and/or improvement of services ▪ Ensure that all facility personnel, residents, and visitors follow established safety regulations, including fire protection/prevention, smoking regulations, infection control, etc. ▪ Monitor to determine the effectiveness of the facility's risk management program ▪ Review and interpret monthly financial statements and provide such information to the governing board. Participate in creating facility budgets as it pertains to census goals, rate management, labor management, and expenses control ▪ In collaboration with A/R support, ensure collections are timely and in its entirety by developing and implementing collections policies and procedures ▪ Ensure that the resident rights to fair and equitable treatment, self-determination, individuality, privacy, property, and civil rights, including the right to raise complaints, are well established and maintained at all times ▪ Ensure that resident funds are maintained and appropriate accounting records are employed by the facility in accordance with current, applicable regulations and laws Required Education and Experience Must possess an active license to practice as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the State of Texas A bachelor's degree in Public Health Administration or Business Administration or health-related degree is preferred Two years of experience in a supervisor role in a healthcare setting Recent long-term care experience required
