Own the results. Adaptive Senior Living is hiring a Senior Executive Director to lead our upcoming addition to our growing portfolio, Bromley Manor. This is not a caretaker role. You will own the P&L, the census, the team, and the resident experience. You will have a home office that actually supports you — and the autonomy to run your community like it's yours. We are a growing New England owner-operator building something new: a company where standards are clear, leaders are trusted, and results matter. What you'll own Operations Full accountability for community performance across every department and shift Compliance with Vermont assisted living and memory care regulations, plus federal requirements Survey and inspection readiness, incident review, and corrective action A visible, on-the-floor leadership presence — residents and staff should know you Occupancy & Growth Achieve and sustain budgeted occupancy through disciplined sales execution Build referral relationships with hospitals, rehabs, physicians, and community partners Own lead management, follow-up, and tour-to-move-in conversion Read the local market and adjust strategy accordingly Financial Performance Lead the community budget: revenue growth, expense control, and NOI performance Manage labor, agency/contract labor, and departmental spend Analyze monthly financials and act on variances — not just explain them Team & Culture Recruit, develop, and retain a strong department leadership team Coach, set clear expectations, and hold leaders accountable for outcomes Build a workplace people want to stay at — retention is a leadership metric here Resident Experience Ensure care and services consistently exceed resident and family expectations Monitor satisfaction and close the loop on concerns quickly Partner with clinical leadership on quality of care and safety How success is measured You'll be evaluated on occupancy and net move-ins, NOI and budget performance, team retention and engagement, resident satisfaction, and survey outcomes. Your performance-based incentive is tied directly to these results. What you bring 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in senior living, assisted living, memory care, or a related healthcare setting Track record leading a community or multi-department operation with full P&L responsibility Demonstrated success driving occupancy growth and sales execution Strong financial acumen — budgets, labor management, variance analysis Working knowledge of Vermont regulations governing assisted living and memory care (or the ability to get up to speed fast) Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Gerontology, or a related field — equivalent leadership experience considered; Master's a plus Ability to meet Vermont administrator qualification requirements What we offer $140,000 - $165,000 base salary, based on experience Performance-based incentive tied to clear, measurable goals Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Leadership development and real advancement opportunity in a growing company A home office support team that answers the phone How we work — The Adaptive Way How we work matters as much as what we achieve.
