Our morning class hours are Monday - Thursday from 9am to 3pm. We do offer flexible hours and growth opportunities within the company. Applicants must have a RN license that is still active. Duties and Responsibilities Under the general supervision, design, deliver, and assess instruction to assist students build knowledge and clinical skills aimed at passing the licensing exam for Certified Nurse' Aide (C.N.A.). Specific responsibilities of this position include: 1) Coordinating and instructing the nurse aide course. 2) Supervising students during clinical rotations. 3) Evaluating students' clinical progress regularly using standardized assessment tools. 4) Employing a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media that encourages student participation, interpersonal skills development, and concepts of good patient care as defined in course syllabus and by state guidelines. 5) Taking necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, patients, equipment, materials, and facilities. 6) Supervising and training instructors as needed. 7) Attending department meetings and other department events. 8) Responsible for efficient and effective use of all supplies and materials maintaining appropriate controls for loss reduction and documenting replacement needs 9) Maintains a cooperative working relationship with clinical sites and staff to provide a comprehensive and safe learning environment for students 10) Completes and submits course records and reports in a timely manner, meeting required deadlines. 11) Engages in regular effective communications with students, staff, and other stakeholders regarding programmatic changes and quality management issues. 12) Remains current on state regulations and training standards Minimum Qualification. a) At least 5 years of nursing experience, with at least one year in the provision of long-term care facility services. Must have experience in teaching adults or supervising nurses aides. b) Unrestricted, current RN license for the State of North Carolina required
