Job Description:
Siena's Baldwin Nursing Program provides an education that is congruent with Siena mission and learning goals and offers nurses a broader humanistic caring perspective of the discipline of nursing. The Nursing program integrates a caring science curriculum with Franciscan values and a strong education in the liberal arts and sciences. With a focus on mindful learning, reflective practice and the importance of self-care, our caring science teaching-learning philosophy creates an authentic environment to enhance the student's understanding of social, cultural, economic and political issues that impact health care. Siena's Baldwin Nursing Program is seeking applicants for Adjunct Nursing Faculty to begin September 1, 2026; for the Fall 2026 semester. The individuals will teach a section of our Transformational Nursing Leadership course (2 contact hours). Requirements:
Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching using a caring science philosophy. The ideal candidate will have at least an MS degree with a major in nursing. Experience with Dr. Jean Watson's caring science philosophy A minimum of three (3) years teaching in baccalaureate nursing. A license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in NY State is required.

$1,333.34 per contact hour •The hiring salary above represents the University's good faith estimate at the time of posting in compliance with the Albany County Salary Transparency Law.
