Locations We are currently hiring for instructors at our Pennsylvania locations: Darby, PA South Philadelphia Central Philadelphia Northeast Philadelphia Drums, PA (Please indicate preferred location(s) when applying.) Compensation Compensation is based on: Licensure (RN or LPN) Years of nursing experience Long-term care background Prior teaching or instructional experience Higher rates may be available for experienced RNs with prior education or leadership experience. About the Role As a Nurse Aide Instructor, you will provide classroom, lab, and clinical instruction using the state-approved NATCEP curriculum. You will prepare students to deliver high-quality care in long-term care and healthcare settings while ensuring compliance with Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE), PA Department of Health (DOH), and federal OBRA standards. This position reports to the Program Administrator. Key ResponsibilitiesInstruction & Education Deliver engaging classroom, lab, and clinical instruction Teach physical, emotional, psychosocial, cognitive, and behavioral care concepts Prepare students for the Pennsylvania state competency exam Evaluate and document student performance and attendance Compliance & Administration Maintain compliance with PDE, DOH, and OBRA regulations Complete the required Teaching-The-Educator workshop Obtain/maintain PDE approval to instruct Maintain accurate student records and documentation Student Support Mentor and guide students throughout the program Address student concerns and promote academic success Participate in faculty meetings and program improvement initiatives Qualifications Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania RN or LPN license Minimum 2 years of nursing experience At least 1 year of direct care or instruction in a long-term care facility (facility name and address must be listed on resume per state requirements) Completion of the Teaching-The-Educator workshop (or willingness to complete before teaching; reimbursement may be available) Eligible for approval by the PA Department of Education Clean CHRI background check Current negative TB test (2-step Mantoux, chest x-ray, or QuantiFERON Gold) About CareBridge Academy CareBridge Academy is a state-approved Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program (NATCEP) serving communities across Pennsylvania. Pay:

$34.00 - $49.00 per hour Application Question(s): Do you have at least 1 year of experience in a long-term care facility? Have you previously taught in a Nurse Aide Training Program (NATCEP) or similar program? If so, what subjects or skills have you taught (e.g., clinical skills, classroom instruction, lab)? Which area or areas of Philadephia and suburbs are you available to teach? We have a variety of current and future locations as well as various clinical sites in the area. What is your availability (days, evenings, weekends) and are you looking for part-time, per diem, or consistently scheduled classes? If you have not completed the TTE course, are you willing to complete the TTE course prior to teaching? (State requirement for all CNA Instructors in PA. Once completed, it is good forever. It is a self-paced online course done through PSU. The cost is $500, but if selected, the company will reimburse for the cost of the program after teaching your first class) Have you completed a Teaching-The-Educator (TTE) workshop approved for NATCEP instructors?
