Job Description

College of Nursing Location:
Chattanooga, TN Description:
The College of Nursing at The University of Tennessee Chattanooga (UTC) seeks a full-time, 12-month faculty member for a non-tenure-track position. The College of Nursing offers the BSN and DNP degrees in Nursing and embraces the shared governance model and Boyer's model of scholarship.
Responsibilities:
Teach, advise, and engage in scholarship activities Participate in the College of Nursing, university service, and/or professional service Assist in monitoring and supporting learner success, and collaborate with curriculum development and revisions
Qualifications:
Master's degree in psychiatric-mental health nursing as a PMHNP or FNP with psychiatric mental health experience. Doctoral preparation in nursing or a related field is preferred. Clinical experience working with clients with psychiatric illness, serious mental illness, and/or substance abuse is preferred. Academic teaching experience preferred.
