Full Job Description Antigua College International Starting Pay:
$22.00 per hour Full-Time | On-Site About the Position Antigua College International is seeking a highly organized, proactive, dependable and bilingual (English and Spanish) Clinical Coordinator to support and coordinate clinical rotations for our nursing students. This position plays an important role in ensuring students are properly prepared, documented, scheduled, and placed at clinical sites where they complete hands-on clinical experiences as part of their nursing education. Previous experience coordinating clinical rotations in a college, nursing program, healthcare education setting, or similar environment is strongly preferred. Experience with Complio or other clinical compliance/documentation systems is preferred. However, we are also open to training the right candidate who demonstrates exceptional organization, computer skills, persistence, accountability, initiative, and the ability to learn new systems quickly. We are looking for someone who does not simply identify problems, but takes ownership, looks for solutions, follows through, and gets things done. A successful Clinical Coordinator who demonstrates strong performance, leadership, and ownership of the department may have the opportunity to advance into a department leadership role with increased responsibilities and compensation. Key Responsibilities Coordinate nursing student clinical rotations each academic term in collaboration with the Director of Education, Nursing Department, faculty, and clinical partners. Track and verify student clinical requirements, including physical examinations, immunizations, CPR certifications, background checks, and other required documentation. Manage student clinical compliance and follow up persistently on missing, incomplete, or expired requirements. Maintain accurate student and clinical documentation using Complio and other systems . Prepare and maintain clinical schedules, ensuring students complete the required clinical hours for each course and term. Communicate clinical schedules, requirements, deadlines, and updates to students and instructors. Maintain professional and consistent communication with hospitals, healthcare facilities, and other clinical partners. Submit required student documentation and compliance information to clinical sites within established deadlines. Assist with securing and maintaining clinical sites and identifying opportunities to expand partnerships with hospitals and healthcare facilities. Coordinate and assign clinical faculty/instructors as needed. Conduct or assist with student and faculty clinical orientations. Maintain organized and audit-ready clinical files and records. Visit clinical sites periodically to verify that rotations are proceeding appropriately and report findings to the Director of Education. Assist with compliance surveys, reports, and documentation required by the College or clinical partners. Respond to student, faculty, and clinical-site concerns professionally and work toward timely solutions. Participate in College events, including graduations, open houses, and other on- or off-campus activities as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned based on the evolving needs of the institution. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience with clinical rotations, clinical coordination, nursing education, allied health education, or healthcare education is highly preferred. Experience using Complio or similar clinical compliance/documentation platforms is strongly preferred. Previous experience working with college students, nursing students, healthcare facilities, hospitals, or clinical partners is a plus. Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software and systems quickly. Excellent organizational and documentation skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines, students, instructors, sites, and requirements simultaneously. High attention to detail and accuracy.
Bilingual:
English and Spanish is Required for this position. Schedule & Flexibility This is an on-site position, mainly 11 am -7:30 pm. Candidates must have reasonable flexibility in their schedule to accommodate the needs of students, faculty, clinical sites, and the institution. Occasional schedule adjustments or visits to clinical locations are required.
