RN Manager - Perioperative Services (Evenings) LiveWell Homecare Agency Urbana, IL Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications RN License Bachelor's degree Bachelor's degree in nursing Full Job Description The RN Manager, Perioperative Services - Evenings oversees the planning, coordination, and supervision of the Operating Room, Pre-Op, PACU, and Sterile Processing departments during evening shifts.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing staff utilization, budgeting, and process improvements to ensure efficient patient throughput and staff workflows. Supervising clinical care and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., DNV, OSHA, AORN). Developing physician relationships and supporting departmental operations, including equipment management and survey readiness. Leading staff development, performance appraisals, recruitment, and fostering a positive work environment. Monitoring quality metrics, patient and staff satisfaction scores, and implementing improvement plans. Ensuring departmental policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements are consistently met. Participating in budget management, committee meetings, and representing the department as needed.
Qualifications include:
Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with Illinois licensure BLS certification within 30 days National Nursing Certification within 3 years Bachelor's Degree in
Nursing Preferred:
3+ years of perioperative nursing and leadership experience The role demands clinical expertise, strong leadership, communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft programs. The manager ensures high-quality patient care, staff engagement, and regulatory compliance to support organizational goals.
