HOSPICE CLINICAL MANAGER
(Registered Nurse) $5,000 Sign On Bonus!
Location:
Our office is in Jackson, MI. We provide hospice care to patients in Jackson, Lansing, and the surrounding areas.
Schedule:
8am to 5pm Monday

secure program that captures visits as they happen. NestMed can draft roughly 90% of your documentation, including OASIS and HOPE items, assessment answers, narrative, and plan of care. About the Role Lead hospice care delivery with clinical excellence, compassion, and a deep commitment to supporting patients and families during life's final journey. As a Hospice Clinical Manager, you'll oversee a multidisciplinary team responsible for providing end-of-life care, ensuring every patient receives coordinated, high-quality support that honors dignity, comfort, and individual needs. This role is ideal for an experienced RN who blends strong clinical judgment with leadership capability and a passion for hospice philosophy. You'll guide and develop an interdisciplinary team—including nurses, social workers, spiritual care, and other supportive services—while ensuring regulatory compliance, quality standards, and operational excellence are consistently met. Partnering closely with field staff, physicians, and organizational leadership, you'll shape care delivery, support staff development, and drive continuous improvement across all aspects of hospice services. Your leadership will directly influence both patient experience and team culture, ensuring compassionate care remains at the center of every decision. Required Qualification Graduate of an accredited school of nursing: Associates Degree or Bachelor's degree in Nursing Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered nurse Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and valid automobile insurance coverage Ability to travel moderately within service area Preferred Qualifications Hospice or home health experience Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Management or supervisory experience Essential Skills and Competencies Excellent observation, verbal, and written communication skills Strong understanding of business management principles and healthcare operations Knowledge of governmental regulations, Medicare/Medicaid requirements, and CHAP standards Advanced nursing skills consistent with accepted clinical standards Ability to assess and respond to diverse needs across varied care settings Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Empathy for managing emotional situations while respecting individual lifestyles Leadership abilities including coaching, personnel management, and staff development Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Understanding of hospice philosophy and palliative care principles How We Care for You Minimum of 3 Weeks Paid Time Off (PTO) Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance HSA and FSA options including Dependent Care Company paid Short Term Disability Company paid Life Insurance 401(k) with Employer Match Mileage Reimbursement Company Vehicle Program for field roles Pet Insurance ID and Fraud Protection And more...
